Classroom expectations:
The following are rules and expectations for my class:
1. BE PRESENT - be on time to school and class and have needed materials (pencil, paper,
etc.).
2. Listen when the teacher/assistant is speaking and follow their directions. BE
RESPECTFUL.
3. Keep hands and feet to yourself. BE RESPECTFUL of others by using personal
space.
4. Keep coats and large book bags in your locker. Chewing gum is allowed as long as we don't see or hear it.
Cell phones are not allowed in class, only during lunch. BE RESPONSIBLE.
5. ASK before using classroom computers, and kitchen and living area items. BE PRO-ACTIVE.
Try to:
Give your best effort and support your classmates. BE POSITIVE.
Consequences:
1. The first time (or two) you break a rule, you will get a warning.
2. The second/third time you break a rule, a note will be sent home in your agenda and you may receive a
lunch detention.
3. The third/fourth time you break a rule, it will be logged and I will make a phone call home.
4. The fourth/fifth time you break a rule, it will be logged and a conference will be held with your parents.
